Saif Ali Khan Suffers Multiple Stab Wounds in Shocking Home Invasion

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed during a home invasion. He is currently undergoing surgery for multiple stab wounds. Cops are investigating the attack.


Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked in a shocking incident at his home in Bandra, Mumbai, early on January 16, 2025. The attack occurred around 3 AM when a thief attempted to break into his residence. During the altercation, Khan was stabbed multiple times with a sharp weapon, leading to his urgent admission to Lilavati Hospital for emergency surgery.


According to Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, Khan suffered six stab wounds, with two of them being deep. One of the deep wounds is alarmingly close to his spine. Dr. Uttamani stated, “He is being treated by a specialized team of doctors.”


The attack is being investigated by the police. In order to identify the culprit, who escaped after the attack, they are now analyzing CCTV footage from the vicinity. According to a police statement, after a fight with Khan's maid, the criminal broke into Khan's Bandra house and attacked him.


Khan’s public relations team confirmed the incident, stating, “He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation.” This incident raises serious concerns about celebrity safety in Bollywood, especially given the recent threats faced by other stars, including Salman Khan.


Salman Khan has previously voiced his fears regarding the safety of his family, indicating a growing anxiety among Bollywood personalities about their security. The attack on Saif Ali Khan has intensified these concerns as the celebrity environment seems more dangerous than ever.
